We’re excited for the US Green Building Council, Massachusetts Chapter’s upcoming event on February 16th – the Building Tech Forum – and we hope to see some of you there too!

The Building Tech Forum: Rise of the Smart Cities is an evening networking session that will feature guest speakers from a diverse population. The topic of the night will be smart cities: what steps have we already taken, what can we do to make more progress, and how does this affect the agenda of sustainability in the built environment? How is technology enabling improved coordination in the built environment?

Mass Energy will be there, because electrifying our everyday lives (from cars to cooking) is an easy way to build smarter cities that use more renewable energy. We’ll be showcasing the Drive Green with Mass Energy program, our discount electric vehicle program.

 The event panel includes:

  • Jascha Franklin-Hodge, the City of Boston's Chief Information Officer,
  • Gretchen Sweeney, VP for Implementation at arcskoru.com
  • Jennie Stephens, Dean's Professor of Sustainability Science & Policy, Northeastern

Event sponsors Union Point, Fraunhofer, and Siemens will all discuss how their groups are making strides to make smart cities a reality.

The USGBC MA has offered us the discount code MASSEN20 to get 20% off any tickets.

To learn more, go to their website, or the Building Tech Forum registration page.
